We strip the old covering, replace any defective timbers, fit a modern breathable membrane and new treated battens, then lay your chosen slate, tile or stone covering to BS 5534 standard. Scaffolding, skips and building control notification are all included in the price we quote.

We survey the roof, agree the covering with you and provide a detailed written specification.

Scaffold & strip

Safe scaffold access is erected and the old covering is stripped and removed.

Structural repairs

Any rotten rafters, purlins or wall plates are replaced before we go any further.

Membrane, battens, covering, ridge, verge and flashings all installed to current standards.

A typical three-bedroom semi takes five to eight working days, weather permitting.

Is scaffolding included?

Yes — scaffolding, waste removal and the skip are all included in our quoted price.
